AirDefense Receives Network Computing
"Well-Connected" Finalist Award

Atlanta - April 8, 2004 - AirDefense, the leader in 24x7 RF monitoring today has been named one of CMP Media LLC's Network Computing's 2004 "Well-Connected" Award Finalists.

"Network Computing has acknowledged the best and brightest in the networking and IT worlds for 10 years through its annual Well-Connected Awards," says Mike Lee, editor of Network Computing magazine. "The awards are determined as a result of product testing in the Real-World Labs of Network Computing, located throughout the U.S. More than 130 finalists in more than 40 categories have been named. The winners will be announced in the coming weeks."

The Well-Connected Award is an important distinction from other award programs as the products selected were tested over an enterprise.

"We are pleased to be recognized as best in class by a magazine as well respected in the industry as Network Computing is," said Anil Khatod, CEO of AirDefense. "Having the recognition substantiates AirDefense's position as the leader in 24x7 distributed monitoring."

The AirDefense security and monitoring system is based on patent-pending technology that incorporates distributed sensors with a server appliance. The remote sensors monitor all wireless LAN activities 24x7 and communicate with the appliance, which correlates and analyzes the data to provide scalable, centralized management of all WLAN deployments by providing rogue detection, policy enforcement, intrusion protection and health monitoring of the wireless LAN.

This is the tenth consecutive year Network Computing has offered this award.
