CSO, Richard Rushing, will speak at the Wi-Fi Planet Spring 2004
Conference & Expo. Rushing's presentation takes place on Tuesday,
June 8, 3:15 p.m. -5:15 p.m., at the Baltimore Conference Center
in Baltimore, MD, as part of the pre-conference workshop agenda.
Rushing will take an in depth look at the current generation
of wireless attack tools-readily available tools that can damage,
destroy and infiltrate most wireless networks. The session will
include hands-on exercises to understand attack methodologies
making it easier to know when an attack is occurring. Attendees
will also learn to build strategies against network attacks, intrusions
and other breaches.
Richard Rushing is a recognized IT security expert with nearly
20 years experience working with computers and networks as a system
analyst, network administrator, engineer, consultant and architect.
Rushing has participated in several corporate security councils
setting standards and policies for entire organizations. He was
most recently Chief Technical Officer of VeriSign's Network Security
Services division and previously served as a founder of SecureIT,
a leading provider of security services to the IT industry that
was acquired by VeriSign in 1998. Prior to SecureIT, Rushing worked
as a security consultant for the Technology Management Services
group at GE Capital.
