Atlanta, GA - June 21, 2004 - AirDefense today announced that it will deliver new solutions for protecting enterprises from the threat of security breaches in their wireless LAN networks (WLAN). IBM has the capability to provide this support remotely or at the customer location. Once the sensors are in place around the wireless environment, IBM monitors in real time for wireless intrusions with personnel skilled in Internet security and intrusion detection from its Security Operations Centers. IBM also provides ongoing management, administration, updates, reporting and tuning of the wireless security solution.
