AirDefense and Trapeze Networks to Host Free Nationwide City Seminar Series on Wireless Intrusion Prevention

Next-Generation Wireless LAN Attacks and Defenses Demonstrated; Latest Security Measures for WLAN Protection Unveiled

Atlanta, Georgia - September 08, 2006 - AirDefense, the innovator that launched the wireless LAN security market, and Trapeze Networks™, the award-winning provider of the wireless LAN (WLAN) Mobility System™, today announced they will jointly host a series of free nationwide city seminars beginning Tuesday, September 12 in Washington, DC. The first seminar will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington with registration beginning at 8:00 AM on September 12. Experts, including Dr. Amit Sinha, chief technology officer of AirDefense; Richard Rushing, chief security officer of AirDefense; David Thomas, vice president of product management at AirDefense; and Roy Gignac, director of product management at Trapeze Networks, will explore with participants the next generation of wireless security vulnerabilities and ways enterprises can protect their networks in this increasingly wireless world.

“As more companies deploy wireless LANs to increase employee productivity and mobility, hackers are keeping pace and finding new ways to break into corporate networks in order to seize sensitive proprietary information,” according to Sinha. “Our nationwide seminar series is a must for anyone responsible for securing a wireless LAN or those organizations currently in the design and development phase with a rollout coming soon.”
