Atlanta – September 10, 2007 –AirDefense, the innovator that launched the wireless LAN security market, today announced a series of free educational wireless intrusion detection and prevention seminars throughout Europe, “War of the Airwaves.” AirDefense invites representatives of enterprises, retailers, healthcare organizations, financial services and government agencies to attend a local event and learn about the latest wireless security threats and hacks, and best practices for security and compliance strategies.

With growing wireless networks creating an increase in worker mobility and the ever-present danger of new hacking tools and techniques, the need to understand the serious threat an insecure wireless network can present is stronger than ever. “War of the AirWaves” will feature technical demonstrations of wireless LAN security pitfalls, best practice strategies for defending IT assets and corporate information, and real-world case studies of deployment and defense.
