Patient Care Without Wires:
Reliable, Secure and Cost-Effective Wireless Mobility for Healthcare

Wireless networks are providing the mobility applications that drive healthcare productivity and patient safety, from bedside access to clinical data, to voice communications, asset and patient tracking and more. Mission-critical applications such as bedside medication administration, emergency registration, order entry, physician rounding and clinical documentation are becoming more important. There is no doubt that the staff efficiencies and patient care advantages realized through wireless mobility are well established. Ensuring that these networks work seamlessly is an increasingly vital part of the health and security of every healthcare organization.

Maintaining the security, performance and reliability of a wireless LAN is challenging due to the uniqueness of the healthcare setting. In the mission-critical environment of healthcare, delivering the very best in patient care requires doctors, nurses and other caregivers to be accessible and instantly able to reach colleagues as well as access a wealth of data. Join experts from Forrester Research and executives from UCLA Health System and Motorola, as they discuss challenges and solutions for healthcare wireless mobility and security.
